Facets core solution is a wonderful software suite that can be a health plan provider’s application of record. Facets can meet your business requirements for a variety health plan service needs. But extracting big data from Facets to integrate with other legacy software is not an out-of-the-box feature. One health plan insurance provider enlisted Surety’s experience to help solve this gap in their company’s core software solution
Surety analysts gathered requirements from the health plan provider to understand their legacy software needs; primarily to use Facets data in order to print 1,000,000+ different outputs to members. Surety built a custom design that would pull large sets of data daily from core Facets, transform the data into a common markup language and transfer these files to internal data servers. Other company software packages would ingest these large data files containing core member information needed to create mandatory CMS documents for their members.
Surety’s architecture and development of the needed integrated solutions allowed the health plan provider to take full advantage of their Facets software as an overall business solution to their other business needs. The design built was flexible enough to be used for as many integration points as the company needed, while at the same time it was simple enough to maintain and enhance for future projects.
