This Southeast urgent care system recently underwent an acquisition, requiring both sides of the organization to implement a new Epic ecosystem. The client’s Epic Ambulatory implementation was poorly executed, resulting in mis-mapped data, lab queue errors, and a growing need for an experienced Epic team to resolve them.

With thousands of tickets awaiting resolution in their existing Epic system and inefficient ProDoc forms, the Surety team was tasked with assessing current workflows and optimizing their current Epic applications. The client’s internal team also required additional support to build and route their Epic MyChart system, including assessing specialty build options for Behavioral Health and ensuring the accuracy of their existing MyChart data.

Our Epic team collaborated directly with the client’s internal teams to support key Epic application areas, improve internal ticket resolution times, and reduce the backlog in critical system areas. This collaborative partnership not only stabilized the Ambulatory environment but also optimized ProDoc forms and MyChart routing, providing the internal team with the scalable infrastructure needed to support their growing patient population.
