The regional supermarket chain recently transitioned from Infor Lawson and UKG to ADP for Timekeeping, Human Capital Management, and Payroll, engaging Surety’s senior-level consultants to support their needs for Lawson, UKG, and ADP before and after the move. The client still runs Infor Lawson technology for Financials; however, they maintain a very lean technical staff, requiring additional support for key improvements across their existing systems.
The client initially engaged our team for a Lawson security audit to ensure their system was configured correctly. Following a successful engagement, this client required additional support to assess their ADP system and outline key considerations for termination policies, role changes, and security updates. With the current setup of the client’s standard operating procedures, when team members change roles or are terminated, their access and security controls are mismanaged, resulting in downstream impacts to their ADP workflows.

By assessing person-based vs role-based security controls and outlining critical termination policies to improve system security, the Surety team helped the client support core ADP workflows and prepare for future innovations across their technical landscape.
