Combating Threats with Lock-tight Infor Lawson Security
Centralizing processes in Infor Lawson creates efficiencies necessary to stay competitive. As businesses grow, the breadth of the system grows making security risks more likely. (And not only from the outside.) Data breaches are often thought of as malicious, but sometimes they’re unintentional and a result of employee error. Infor Lawson Security helps prevent that.
Infor Lawson Security safeguards a company’s—and its employees’—most sensitive data. It ensures users have access to the resources needed to perform their jobs and nothing more. But it only when configured in the right way. Small oversights—like incorrect user roles or upgrading to Lawson v10 before setting up Security—can turn into big problems.
Surety’s experienced Infor Lawson Security consultants know the ins and outs of keeping your data safe. We drill down to core business processes to plan, design, and configure tailored security infrastructures. No one-size-fits-all solutions here. Our experts are well versed in single-sign-on, provisioning and federation, rules and authentication best practices for ISS, LSA, LSF, and Landmark. No matter how complex your needs, trust Surety’s Infor Lawson Security consultants to get it done.
Everything You Need to Know About Converting to Lawson ADFS for Authentication
Infor Lawson communicated that they plan to stop providing discrepancy corrections and updates for Lawson Security as Security Token Services (LS/STS) by March 2019—in other words, sunsetting support for LS/STS. Therefore, customers that were using LS/STS for their authentication needs will need to move to another authentication service—such as Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS)—by that time.
From On-premise to the Lawson Cloud
A hotel management company was struggling with their on-premise Lawson system. It had poorly structured security and required each user to have two IDs. See how Surety Systems helped migrate them to the cloud and reduce the risks that come with multiple logins and passwords.
