Lawson Project Director
Surety Systems is pleased to continue a long-standing relationship with a major healthcare system in the Northwestern U.S. Surety was recently appointed to assist this client with a complete re-implementation of their Lawson system due to exponential growth. Surety has since provided them with a Project Director to manage the project which is expected to continue through 2013.

Lawson AP Implementation
Surety Systems recently partnered with a manufacturing company in the Southeast to complete their Lawson AP implementation. The Surety Systems Technical Consultant has stepped in as the Project Lead for the technical aspects while serving as a liaison to the business unit.

Southeast Lawson Users Mega Meeting
Surety Systems had the pleasure of being a sponsor for the Southeast Mega Meeting held in Nashville August 9th and 10th. Lawson client’s were represented from all seven states in the group and Surety was thrilled to spend some time with clients from each of them. We’d also like the thank the Tennessee Lawson User Group for having such a well-organized and wonderful outting at the famous Wildhorse Saloon!

Lawson Team Lead
Surety has partnered with a National Healthcare provider to provide an interim Lawson System Administrator team lead. The Surety consultant will work with a team of 14 people to help coordinate day to day needs while resolving reoccurring system issues. Additionally the consultant will assist in the allocation of in-house resources for current projects.

Lawson Development Team
Our Lawson practice just kicked off a project with a multinational Manufacturing and Distribution company in the Southeast. Surety provided two Lawson Developers to come in and work through numerous Lawson COBOL and Interface issues post upgrade. Additionally they are helping create and rewrite new customizations due changes with parent company.

Lawson Absence Management Implementation
Surety has partnered with one of the largest global apparel companies to implement the Lawson Absence Management product. This project will be managed by one of our senior LP consultants in addition to providing all training and knowledge transfer.

Lawson Procurement Trainer
Surety has been engaged by a communication services company to provide Lawson Procurement training to some of the end users. The training will focus on how to create a PO from a requisition within Lawson.

Lawson 9.1.9 Upgrade
Surety Systems recently partnered with an international law firm to help them upgrade their Lawson environment from 9.1.2 to 9.1.9/10. The upgrade will be managed by one of our senior Lawson System Administrators. In addition, we will be providing knowledge transfer to the client’s internal staff in an effort to ensure a smooth transition following go-live/post production support.

Lawson Financials Process Improvement
Surety was engaged by a current client to enhance the processing of their Canadian Financials on Lawson. This will require multiple small enhancements to the clients existing processing. The project is scheduled to last for 10 weeks.

9.0.1 Upgrade Support
Our Lawson practice just kicked off a project with a school district running Lawson. We will be providing support to them during an upgrade to version 9.0.1 as well as upgrading their Oracle Database to 11g. In addition, one of their System Administrators will be going on leave so we will continue to provide support until her return.

LAUA to LS9 Security
We were recently engaged by a major medical center to assist them in completing their move from LAUA Security to LS9 Security. Our consultant will work hand in hand with the IT team to appropriately set up all roles and to understand the technical aspects of Role Based Security.

Surety Systems Attends Carolina’s Lawson User Group
Surety had the opportunity to attend the most recent “Carolina’s Lawson User Group (CLUE)” meeting in Charlotte. We’d like to thank Belk for hosting the meeting at their beautiful facility as well as the user group for doing a fantastic job as usual. Lawson AR and BL Implementation
Surety has been engaged by a large healthcare provider in Texas to implement Lawson AR and BL. The client is currently utilizing Quicken for their physician billing and they will be moving over to Lawson. The Lawson Financials Consultant will be working for 4 months to implement the modules.

Lawson Development for Custom Programs
Surety has been engaged by a Public School system to update current staff reviews program in addition to enhancements to custom Time & Attendance system to incorporate data from sub system. Lawson Developer will be working with this client for the next 4-6 months.

Lawson Employee/Manager Self Service Implementation
Surety has been engaged by a Public Works client for an implementation of Lawson EMSS. Implementation to include ProcessFlow and be in place for their open-enrollment. The consultant will work with the client over the next few months to ensure everything is in place.

Lawson PFI Training and Development
Surety has been engaged by a large wholesale grocery client to provide Lawson PFI training and develop a requisition approval process flow for the client. The project will last for around 6 weeks.

Mobile Supply Chain Management Upgrade
Surety has been engaged by Large Health Care provide to complete upgrade and patch application to Test and Production Lawson MSCM Server. First work completed on Test environment then allowing for user testing; then moving into Production.

Lawson Financials Multi-Currency Project
Surety has been engaged by a jewelry retailer who recently acquired a Canadian company. They’ve engaged one of our Lawson Financials consultants for a period of 2 months to set up their Lawson system for multi-company multi-currency.

Lawson Payroll Manager Backfill Project
Surety has been engaged by a large healthcare organization to provide backfill assistance in the role of payroll manager while the organization searches for a fulltime position. This role is being filled by one of our Lawson Payroll consultants and is expected to last 6 months.

Lawson HR Systems Analyst- Various Projects within the HR space
Surety has been engaged by a large Chicago area healthcare organization to assist with a number of Lawson projects including bringing their Lawson applications in house from a hosted environment, EMSS, LBI, and LSO. The project is being handled by one of our Lawson HR Systems Analyst for an anticipated duration of 9-12 months.
